Airport Master Plan Public Meeting Notice

The North Big Horn County Airport (U68) and South Big Horn County Airport (GEY) are in the process of updating their Airport Master Plans. The second of three public meetings will be held on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at 6:00 pm at the Big Horn County Lovell Annex, 355 E 5th Street in Lovell. Public notice is hereby given that three (3) or more members of the Big Horn County Airport Board may be present at this meeting. No official business will be conducted or any official action taken.

South Big Horn County Airport – Greybull

The 7000 ft, runway provides sufficient length to accommodate any General Aviation, corporate aircraft, or large cargo aircraft that may need to fly into, or provide service to customers, in the Greybull area. No landing fees, free tie-downs, and extremely competitive fuel prices make the airport an attractive destination, or stop-over location, for the flying community. Located near the town of Greybull, a short ride will take you to a variety of businesses that cater to your dinning, shopping, or relaxation needs.

North Big Horn County Airport - Cowley

Located approximately 3 miles north of the town of Cowley, the North Big Horn County Airport provides the un-congested airport environment that many General Aviation pilots seek. This uncontrolled airport is easily accessible to transient aircraft that may be passing by. Free tie-downs and very competitive fuel prices provide additional advantages to using the airport. The glider community is very active at the North Big Horn County Airport, so should you be looking for good thermals, and very little air traffic, please consider Cowley as a destination.
