The Big Horn County Attorney acts in all courts in the state as legal counsel for Big Horn County and its officers acting in their official capacity and prosecutes or defends all suits instituted by or against the Big Horn County or its officers. The Big Horn County Attorney is also charged with the criminal prosecution of violations of Wyoming state law which occur within Big Horn County. This includes misdemeanor infractions as well as felonies.
